A Haverstraw restaurant will be holding its annual free meal event from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday (today), Tuesday and Wednesday.
Since 2009, Union Restaurant and Bar Latino, 22-24 New Main St., has held the three-day event to give back to the community, welcoming financially struggling families with its signature Latin fusion cuisine and warm hospitality.
“So many of our friends and neighbors continue to be affected by the ongoing economic crisis and the winter weather, and we thought this was a perfect opportunity to show our gratitude by sharing our signature Latin Fusion cuisine and warm hospitality with them,” said David Martinez, chef and co-owner of the restaurant.
For those who would wish to volunteer for the event, contact Emily Dominguez at 845-947-8532.
