The Nyack Homeless Project is getting ready for another holiday drive to help the homeless.
Last year, the nonprofit donated food, coats and clothing to more than 45 breakfast/afterschool programs, women’s shelters, family pantries, childcare centers, homeless programs, runaway teen shelters, homebound organizations in Rockland, its organizers said.
Volunteers are again collecting new and gently used warm coats, new hats, gloves, underwear, socks, toiletries, boxed and canned foods, and financial donations through Dec. 22.
The group also accepts financial donations.
