The information and risk-management company released data about consumer credit card debt today in response to a request by The Journal News. The data is based on 10 percent sampling of the company’s credit database for credit card holders in Rockland County.
Rockland County’s third-quarter credit card balance was higher than the $6,917 average for the fourth quarter of 2012, typically the time of the year with the highest balance because of holiday spending.
