The town of Clarkstown is celebrating the completion of the Congers trailway and boardwalk at Congers Lake with a parade and ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Congers Memorial Park at 6 Gilchrest Road in Congers.
The festivity will start with a goblin parade at 11 a.m. Gather at the Community Center to participate. Registration and judging of costumes will promptly start at 11 a.m. and end at noon. Prizes will be awarded for each age and costume category.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will start at noon and a guided fitness walk will follow at 12:30 p.m.
Other activities include Halloween games, horse drawn hayrides, and bounce castles.
Bring bikes, strollers, and scooters to stroll the new boardwalk.
