The Historical Society of the Nyacks is hosting its annual yard sale in South Nyack today.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the group, which has its museum at the DePew House next to the Nyack Library. Last year, the yard sale brought in more than $3,000.
Local residents and society members donate all of the items to the event, which include furniture, household goods, books, toys and a dollhouse.
The yard sale is taking place at 192. S. Broadway, at the corner of Clinton Avenue and the site of the totem pole. It ends at 2 p.m. today.
