Money magazine has ranked Clarkstown as the 35th best place to live in the country and Ramapo as the 59th in its annual list of the 100 best places with populations between 50,000 and 300,000.
Money says this of Clarkstown:
“Given that Clarkstown is consistently ranked one of the safest towns in America, it’s not surprising that locals get outside a lot to enjoy the town’s numerous parks, lakes, and trails and take advantage of its proximity to the Hudson River. New York City is an hour away, but there are ample leisure offerings nearby. Residents can catch a show at Nyack’s Elmwood Playhouse, attend a Little League game in Zukor Park, or hit the largest mall in the tristate area, West Nyack’s Palisades Mall.”
Of Ramapo, Money says:
“Families rejoice: You will never be at a loss for what to do in this Rockland County town. Residents have their pick of camps and sports lessons, family movie nights and festivals, and the use of lots of public facilities. The city’s summer concert series draws big names like Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, and Smash Mouth. About a quarter of the city’s residents brave the hourlong commute to New York City for work, but most locals clearly prefer the tranquil life; Ramapo is over 50% parkland.”
The top small city or town in which to live? Carmel, Indiana. They must be celebrating in the Indianapolis suburbs today.

How much did Christopjher St. Lawrence pasy for that ranking???? “Families rejoice: You will never be at a loss for what to do in this Rockland County town”??? You will be at a loss if you want a quality public school education 50% Parkland?? Not after they finish Patrick’s Farm and the Rabbinical College.

I mean, I mean, it doesn’t get any more absurd than this. These magazines are so pathetic, they can’t give them away. Next, they’ll have a list that says the safest place to be in the US on a Saturday night is 125th and Lennox. This is how stupid the average American has become.
