Carolyn DeLisser and Audrey Leeds have taken the “Seeing Trees” exhibit from Rockland and planted it at the New York Hall of Science in Queens.
A juried photography and fine art exhibition, it had been shown during 2011 at Blue Hill Plaza in Pearl River. New images and new artists have been added to this version.
It opens with a reception at 2 p.m. April 15. To attend the reception, make reservations with Marcia Rudy at 718-669-0005 and let her know the number of people planning to attend.
Since the exhibit is up until Aug. 18, if you’re headed to Queens anytime, you can check out the kid-friendly museum at 47-01 111th St. It’s open from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through June 30. Starting July 1, hours are expanded.
