You’re needed at the Union Restaurant and Bar Latino in Haverstraw.
The restaurant at 24 New Main St. will be open only from 4:30–8 p.m. Feb. 27 to 29 for its fourth annual “We Care” event.
Volunteers are needed to help out – if you want to be there, contact coordinator Emily Dominguez at 845-947-8532.
The restaurant will serve free meals to the unemployed and families struggling with economic problems. Due to the popularity of this event, folks who come to eat can expect to wait to be seated due to capacity limits. No alcoholic beverages will be served or allowed on the premises. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18 years old.
