An online gathering place for news and conversation

An Evening in Tibet (but in Nyack) on Feb. 12

Posted by: Emily Kratzer - Posted in Rockland County on Feb 03, 2012

In the mood for an exotic experience?

A benefit for the Tibetan Home of Hope, “An Evening in Tibet” features – you guessed it – Tibetan food and music; plus a silent auction and Tibetan bazaar. Jim Fyfe is the master of ceremonies and auctioneer.

The VIP reception begins at 5 p.m. and is $120; regular admission at 6 p.m. is $40. This is all happening at the Nyack Center, 58 Depew Ave.

For tickets, visit www.tibetanhomeofhope.org or two businesses in Nyack: Sign of the Times or Maria Luisa.
