Hey, she looks familiar. So does he.
Yes, your friends and neighbors are active with the Bergen County Players in Oradell, N.J. They’re putting on the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” through Oct. 2. Performance times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. There also are shows set for 7 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 25) and 11 p.m. Sept. 30. Yes, 11 p.m. – that’s the adults-only, “blue” performance. Can you spell n-a-u-g-h-t-y?
Tickets are available at www.bcplayers.org or by calling 201-261-4200. The playhouse is at 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. Just take Route 304 south – it turns into Kinderkamack by Annie Sez and The Porterhouse. Stay on it (go over the railroad tracks in Montvale by bearing left at the light by the railroad station.)
As for the folks involved above, they are, from left, top, Brad Forenza of Ridgewood, Louanna Factora of Flushing, Phil Sloves of Fair Lawn, Nancy Feldman of New City, James Lugo of Congers and Jeffrey Foote of Denville; bottom row, from left, Lena Grotticelli of Mahwah, Elaine Thoman of Ridgewood and Timothy Meola of Flanders.
