The winners of the Shatemuc Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s annual American History Essay Contest were Erika Samovici of Suffern Middle School, Elizabeth Abraham of St. Paul’s School, Harrison Munitz of Suffern Middle School and Gabrielle Favre of St. Augustine School. The winners of the Junior American Citizens Contests were Christina Matiern, Lea Roberta Mondesir, Adelaine Zuks, Christopher Alberto and Casey Bischoff — all students at Sacred Heart School in Suffern.
