New City native Allison Hagendorf is more than just a Fuse VJ and host of “Top 20 Countdown.”?She’s also a self-proclaimed foodie, rattling off favorites from her native Rockland County without hesitation.
“I do believe that Rockland Bakery is the eighth wonder of the world,” she says. “I talk about Rockland Bakery at least once a day. I’m obsessed with it. I just go, put the gloves on, go straight to the conveyor belt, and take any hot pumpernickel bagels they have off the conveyor belt. They have the best challah there, the rye bread. That place is a godsend. Rockland Bakery is amazing. I also eating thin-crust, whole-wheat pizza at Turiello’s in Nyack. It’s a very special spot. My whole family eats there way too much. And I think the best ice cream to date is still glacé from Gourmet Garden in Nanuet.”
