I know lots of Clarkstown parents who would like to attend school board meetings but just can’t make the time on a busy Thursday.
Former school board member Rhea Vogel seemed to be echoing those parents when she urged the Board of Education yesterday to approve the live broadcast of their meetings for the benefit of taxpayers.
“I’m hoping this year that board will approve the filming ad streaming live of the board meetings and archiving the films,” she told the board at its annual reorganization meeting.
Vogel has been taping school board meetings for several months now and putting snippets up on YouTube.
The school board didn’t immediately respond to her request.
