Christmas tree returns to downtown Nyack

Posted by: Khurram Saeed - Posted in Uncategorized on Dec 03, 2009

Nyack residents are invited to decorate the village’s Christmas tree at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The tree is returning to the downtown after a five-year hiatus.

The Chamber Of Commerce of the Nyacks will hold a “Decorate the Tree” party at Veteran’s Memorial Park on Main Street (near the gazebo). Jill Lydecker, of Lydecker Real Estate, is providing the ornaments. Nyack’s Department of Public Works has put lights on the tree this afternoon. There will be hot chocolate (compliments of downtown Nyack restaurants), caroling and music.
